A good trim keeps a tree healthy and keeps its limbs off your roof, your driveway, and your service line. Deadwood comes out, crossing and rubbing branches are removed, and the crown is thinned so wind moves through it instead of pushing against it.

Reinhardt Tree Service trims and prunes yard trees, shade trees, and tree lines across the Hale area. We cut what should be cut and leave the tree looking like a tree.

What's included

  • Deadwood and hazardous limb removal
  • Clearance from roofs, gutters, driveways, and service lines
  • Crown thinning and shaping for shade trees
  • Raising low limbs over lawns, drives, and walkways
  • Bucket truck access for tall trees

How it goes

  1. Walk the trees

We look at each tree with you and agree on what comes off and what stays.

  2. Written estimate

The price is put in writing before any cutting starts.

  3. Trim and cleanup

Limbs are cut, brush is chipped or hauled, and the lawn is cleaned up.

Tree Trimming & Pruning questions

When is the best time to trim trees?

Most trees are best pruned while dormant, in late fall through early spring, but deadwood and hazard limbs can come off any time of year.

How much can be taken off a tree at once?

Less than most people expect. Heavy over-cutting stresses a tree; we thin and shape conservatively and tell you if a tree needs a second pass in a later season.

Do you trim trees near power lines?

We trim around service drops to the house. Trees in the main utility lines belong to the power company; we will tell you when that is the case.

Where we do this work
