It depends on the ground. We set up on the drive when we can and use mats or wait for firmer ground when we cannot. We talk it through before the truck rolls onto grass.
How tall a tree can you reach?
Most residential trees are within reach. For anything taller or where the truck cannot get close, we combine the bucket with rigging and tell you the plan up front.
Is bucket work safer than climbing?
For the trees it can reach, yes. The operator works from a stable platform, which is why it is our first choice for tall and hazardous work.
